My paintings are sold direct without a middleman markup from my Living Room Gallery. You need to view abstract paintings in-person to EXP the visceral energy; if it moves you, then you can take it home (fits in most SUV’s with back seat rolled down) or I can arrange delivery or shipping!

Even though I have a modest setup, you still EXP the full affect of the paintings at my place, that’s why I advocate for coming over to see the paintings.

It’s an illusion perpetuated by our hierarchical social conditioning that living with art is for people with wealth and money to burn; but what it’s really about is good taste and you can be living at below the poverty line and have good taste! I’ve set a floor price of $1,500 for my paintings (H 60 in by W 48 in) as a matter of practice but I’m open to a barter exchange as well.

Art Market or Art World is pure market-making. In case you are unfamiliar, this is a routine occurrence: an artist will be discovered by a Dealer, they purchase 10 works at a ridiculously low price and put them in storage; then at auction a few works are purchased at inflated prices and now a piece no one wanted at $2,000 is suddenly appealing with a market price of $25,000; subsequently, PR firms are paid for placement/buzz thereby the artist’s name now begins appearing in prominent industry listicles and amplified (‘hot artist’, ‘sold out/wait list/highly in demand’) extending to secondary and tertiary channels — the game is on — can you find me a celebrity or art advisor who loves the work?

Now the Dealer starts to slowly offload their inventory at the higher price point to the crowd. We’re talking 20X ROI multiple to what they paid less than a few years ago. In case you don’t understand ROI, 20X is the equivalent of turning 10 thousand to 200 thousand; this is why players show up from around the world. As a matter of primal psychology, people want in on what is being talked about favorably in the immediate moment (proven by extensive behavioral purchase-pattern data, literally over hundreds of years), are hopelessly addicted to media hype, the thrill of risk-taking. Who were those buyers at auction? It’s anonymous (not disclosed), so it was someone connected to the Dealer and was a wash trade (you buy and get your money back). I’m relating this behind the curtain insight because it’s about existing as a pure being with intellectual honesty — no games, no bullshit, seeing life as it is!
