In complete seriousness, I refer to this playlist of hand-picked tracks now approaching a decade in the making as my most valuable possession! Listening at my place on concert-grade Klipsch speakers, AirPods at the beach or when I’m traveling and no stereo is around except for my iPad, this playlist is always on me!

I lived in Crown Point, just east of Pacific Beach in San Diego for many years; I would drive up the coast on weekends fully exploring all the beach towns from Bird Rock to Carlsbad (La Jolla, Torrey Pines, Solana Beach + Encinitas). Immersing big time in the vibe, intently studying what was working with regard to real estate development + design concepts. Coastal areas are considered super-prime, so continually being renovated by big budget developers, so you see traditional residences and neighborhoods evolving to modern, organic & natural.

Definitely needed a good Jazz playlist to set the mood for the ride and our day trips — that’s how it began — why I love it so much. SoCal beach memories are so spacious and saturated!
